Sebastian meets Santa

This was actually the most comfortable that Sebastian got with the old man! I thought he would be fine with it, seeing as he goes up to weird men in the laundromat and grocery store and just holds his arms up to be held. (and then lets them hold him until I find a polite way to reclaim my child). But he was having none of it. Not even the promise of a candy cane could get him to stay!

Our holiday wreath

After some debate, I decided that we're going with a Christmas wreath, rather than a tree. Our apartment is pretty cozy (read: small), so a full-sized tree certainly didn't make sense. And even a small tree would be a bit too appealing for a certain little boy who likes to touch (and pull and throw and eat) everything he can get his hands on!

So for now, a holiday wreath it is. Plenty for the two of us, as we lead up to the holiday festivities at my parents' house. Their tree has always been my true Christmas tree, I don't see that changing anytime soon...

Wow, just saw that my last post was in September! I don't think anyone will blame me for being rather busy with other things, but I still feel a sense of responsibility to get some more pictures on here!

We'll see how far along I can get while the wee one sleeps...
