Girls' Weekend - Mazunte Turtle Museum

The town of Mazunte (and all along the coast) used to be a serious turtle-slaughtering area. In 1990 it was banned, and since then there have been significant investments to protect the turtle population, as well as educate the public. I'd read and heard good things about the turtle museum in Mazunte, but hadn't made it there, until this weekend with Katharina.
